All session payments can be made in the studio via Eftpos, and we accept all major Credit Cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you would like to organise to pay by direct transfer, we can invoice you which will include our banking details. For any alternative billing requirements, please have a chat with our team.
Most private health insurers cover Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy sessions under ‘Extras Cover.’ We can process your claim on the spot using our HICAPS machine, so you’ll only need to pay the gap.
*You can also claim Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy treatments through Work Cover and TAC. Please bring the required paperwork to our team before your first appointment to ensure your claim is validated and sessions will be covered under your claim.
*Please note: Work Cover and TAC typically doesn’t cover the full session fee, so you may be responsible for a portion of the treatment costs.
What is a enhanced care plan (epc)?
An Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) is a referral that is written by your GP which provides eligible patients with Medicare-subsidised allied health appointments. This will entitle you to 5 visits within a calendar year.
The GP puts this plan in place to help manage your chronic or terminal medical condition. You are then able to receive a Medicare rebate for the costs of the allied health services that Melbourne Yoga and Pilates provides such as Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy.
Am I eligible?
A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer, for example, asthma, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and stroke. There is no list of eligible conditions. However, these items are designed for patients who require a structured approach and to enable GPs to plan and coordinate the care of patients with complex conditions requiring ongoing care.
