Melbourne Yoga and Pilates Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Melbourne Yoga and Pilates. Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully.

1. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates reserves the right to refuse entry to its premises.
2. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
3. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised.
However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates is not
liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.
4. Class prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in costs.
5. All purchases are final. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates does not offer refunds on services or products for
change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, exception if you are deemed medically unfit to participate in exercise for the foreseeable future, supported by a Medical certificate.
6. Passes and memberships may not be shared.
7. Cancellation must be made via the online booking system no less than 24 hours prior to the class or appointment start time. Classes or appointments cancelled after this point will be considered a “late cancel” and you will be charged for the class. Cancellations will not be accepted by phone or email.
8. No entry is permitted 10 minutes after the class start time.
9. Please cancel your class if you are unable to make it to make your place available for others.
10. Gift cards can be redeemed for classes or appointments. They are not redeemable for cash.
11. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused portions of passes
due to illness, unhurt, change of address or any other reason.
12. In attending classes or appointments at Melbourne Yoga and Pilates, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Melbourne Yoga and Pilates or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death,
whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
13. Each time you attend a class you represent and warrant that you are in good physical
condition and know of no medical or other reason why you cannot or should not do passive or
active exercise.
14. Our staff and contractors are not medically trained. They are not qualified to assess if you
are in good physical condition and can exercise without risking your health, safety or comfort.

Purchase Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we require 24 hours’ notice. This will allow us to offer your spot to another person. If you’re unable to provide the requisite notice, your session will be charged at the full rate. Your information will be encrypted using Securepay and SSL certificates. A decline fee may be charged by Ezidebit Australia in the event of a declined online payment. By completing this transaction you understand that ‘Ezidebit Payment’ will appear on your bank statement as the payment reference.

We aim to provide all clients with a safe online shopping experience. For all our online transactions we use MindBodyOnline. MindBodyOnline encodes your credit card and contact details to ensure their safe transfer to us. We respect your privacy and personal information, and will not share it with anyone else. We may use your email address to send out newsletters and email notifications, however, should you wish to be removed from our mailing list at any time, you can opt out of email contact by logging in with your username and password, clicking through to My Profile and de-selecting the email option.

Introductory offers are available to local residents only.

Personal Training Membership

The minimum term for this membership is 6 consecutive weeks, and allows unlimited access to all group classes – Power Flow, Core Flow, Power Barre, Mat Pilates + 2 Personal Training sessions per week
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.
– includes free mat hire
– includes free mat storage if you bring your own mat.
– 10% off merchandise
– 10% off workshops
1. Membership numbers are limited. You will be contacted within the week after online signup to complete the required paperwork. No Cancellations are permitted.
2. After six consecutive weeks the membership will automatically continue on a weekly basis until Melbourne Yoga and Pilates is advised by you via email (info@melbourneyogaandpilates.com) to terminate the membership. Fourteen days notice is required to process cancellations.
3. Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per week via Ezidebit Pty Ltd. Direct Debit formed to be filled and submitted at the studio.
4. It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the weekly auto-debit. If an auto-debit is declined due to insufficient funds, the transaction will fail which requires additional administration and yields additional bank costs. Unfortunately, Ezidebit Pty Ltd is unable to absorb these costs and applies a $11.90 fee for these failed transactions. This fee is debited from your account 7 days after the failed payment.
5. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates is in no way responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank.
6. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.
7. If an auto debit cannot be made for any reason, Melbourne Yoga and Pilates may in its absolute discretion, process payment anytime after the due date upon receipt of sufficient monies in your account.
8. Suspensions must be made in 14 day increments only i.e. 2 weeks minimum, for a maximum total of 6 weeks in your membership year. If further deferrals are required, a charge of $8/week will apply. Melbourne Yoga and Pilates cannot pro-rate day usage. Fourteen days’ notice prior to the suspension date request is required to process the suspension.
9. Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 24 hours before a class without penalty.
10. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Introductory offer holders will not be able to book another class on the same day. Members and intro pass holders will have their booking privileges suspended if they “no show” or late cancel two classes in any two week period.
11. If auto-debit payments fail for 2 weeks or more, Melbourne Yoga and Pilates may in its absolute discretion cancel the membership.
12. The terms and conditions or our third party biller Ezidebit form a binding component of your membership agreement. They can be found in hard copy at reception or on our website www.melbourneyogaandpilates.com (under Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the website).
13. Memberships may not be shared. Anyone caught sharing memberships will be denied entry and forfeit their membership permanently.

Unlimited group classes + 1 premium class membership

The minimum term for this membership is 6 consecutive weeks, and allows unlimited access to all group classes -Power Flow, Power Barre, Mat Pilates + 1 premium class – Pilates, Power Pilates and Advanced Flow per week

– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events

– includes free mat hire
– includes free mat storage if you bring your own mat.

– 10% off workshops

2 x Premium Classes Membership

The minimum term for this membership is 6 consecutive weeks, and allows 2 x Premium class – Pilates, Power Pilates and Advanced Flow per week
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.

10 Class Pack

1. Allows access to a maximum of 10 session of the following group classes – Power Flow, Power Barre, Core Flow, Mat Pilates.
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.
2. 10 Class pack expires within 4 months of the sale date.
3. Class pack is to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
4. Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 24 hours before a class without penalty.
5. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Class pack holders will not be able to book another class on the same day. Members and Class pack holders will have their booking privileges suspended if they “no show” or late cancel two classes in any two week period.
6. Packs may not be shared. Anyone caught sharing packs will be denied entry and forfeit their membership permanently.

Casual class

1. Allows access to one class specified by the type of class purchased
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.
2. Casual Class expires from 1 day of the sale date.
3. Must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
4. Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 24 hours before a class without penalty.
5. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Class pack holders will not be able to book another class on the same day.
6. Anyone caught sharing passes will be denied entry and forfeit their pass permanently.

10 Premium Class Pack

1. Allows access to a maximum of 10 session of Pilates X, Power Pilates and Advanced Flow premium classes
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.
2. 10 Class pack expires within 4 months of the sale date.
3. Class pack is to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
4. Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 24 hours before a class without penalty.
5. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Class pack holders will not be able to book another class on the same day. Members and Class pack holders will have their booking privileges suspended if they “no show” or late cancel two classes in any two week period.

Clinical Pilates 10 Pack

1. Allows access to a maximum of 10 session of Clinical Pilates 3 on 1 group classes
– includes normally-scheduled classes and excludes special events.

3. Class pack is to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
4. Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 24 hours before a class without penalty.
5. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Class pack holders will not be able to book another class on the same day. Members and Class pack holders will have their booking privileges suspended if they “no show” or late cancel two classes in any two week period.

Intro Offer 10 Classes

1. Valid for new clients only and includes all classes except Clinical Pilates 3-on-1 and privates
2. Sessions must be completed within 28 days of first visit
3. Non-transferrable or refundable
4. Late Cancels and no shows count as a visit.  If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 24 hours of the start time you will be charged for the class. Members or Introductory offer holders will not be able to book another class on the same day. Members and intro pass holders will have their booking privileges suspended if they “no show” or late cancel two sessions in any two week period
5. Introductory offers are available to local residents only.

Intro Offer 3 x 30min Personal Training Sessions

1. limit of 1 per customer
2. Must activate one month from purchase
3. Sessions must be completed 3 weeks from visit
4. Non-transferrable or refundable
